What does a day in your work life look like?
As the Configuration Services Specialist of the FrontierUS Partner Success team, I focus on the technical and operational part of our business. I handle the majority of Advanced Configuration Services (ACS) orders. My work with ACS helps save our Partners time and money by allowing them to ship fully configured devices directly to their customers. I’m also referred to as the “Zakk of All Trades” by my teammates because I’m always ready to jump in and assist in other areas when needed.
What do you love about your job?
The sense of passion that comes with the job is my favorite part. Having the ability to assist our partners on important projects with a large impact on people’s lives brings me great pride.
FrontierUS places a big emphasis on community engagement. What volunteer opportunity has been the most meaningful to you?
The first event that comes to mind is the SEEDS tree planting project. We spent a day helping plant trees to recover natural wetlands that were converted to cattle grazing fields back in the 20th century. I love the ability to work on technology and still find time to help our ecosystem.
If you got a year off with full pay, how would you spend it?
I would pick a continent and travel by train across its entirety. I would like to experience a difference in their food, work and, culture and broaden my perspective on life.
What’s something about you people might not know?
I spent two summers during my teen years learning how to operate and maintain small yachts and schooners. Being out on the water is one of the most blissful and therapeutic experiences a person can have.
