These Help Points provide passengers, including passengers with disabilities, with 24/7 access to emergency services around station platforms and public areas.

Peplink makes it possible for passengers to access real-time information about a bus or train’s location, estimated arrival times at stations, delays, and other relevant updates. Wi-Fi hotspots onboard, powered by cellular connectivity, to enhance the passenger experience. Those same cellular networks can be used to deliver on-demand entertainment content to in-seat screens throughout the passengers’ journey.

Managing It All With Peplink InControl 2

For AWDS clients, one of the biggest benefits of choosing Peplink for Public Transportation solutions is the remote network management platform, InControl 2 (IC2). With IC2, all Peplink devices on the network can be managed remotely, regardless of how they are being used and where they are located. Configurations and firmware updates can be pushed to hundreds of devices with a single click. Interactive maps can be used to track the location of trains and vehicles in real time. Graphical reports are available to monitor network quality, and the Remote Web Admin feature makes it possible to direction access the WebUI of any device, regardless of location.
